Full Tilt Poker Tournaments

The online poker tournaments at Full Tilt Poker are good. They have many outstanding variations and nice forms of tournament play. The standard starting stack is 1,500 and the blinds levels are 10 minutes.

All standard forms of tournament poker is offered and you also have:

Turbo (short blind level time)
Cash out (explained below)
Rebuy / addon (you can re-buy if you loose your chips)
Double stack (you start with the double amount of chips: 3000)
Super Stack (you start with loads of chips)
Knock out (you get a bounty prize for each person you knock out)
Shoot out (sit’n'go style multi table tournaments)

Their new concept CASH OUT tournament is nice. Here you can cash out your tournament chips into real money at any time, but only 50% of them. This is a new concept that is unique to Full Tilt Poker.

Here’s how a cash out tournament works:

1. The buy-in of the tournament is $100
2. You start with 1,500 chips and manage to double up to 3000 chips
3. Now you choose to cash out 1,500 chips, this will give you 50% of the $100 in return, $50 into your poker account.

Please note that you can cash out any amount of tournament chips to your account. If you cash out 150 chips right at the start of the tournament you will get $5 to your account and so on.

They also have a tournament promotion that consists of two parallel tournaments and you will win a large amount of cash if you manage to place yourself in the money in both of the tournaments the same night.
